Summer Camp Volunteers
We are looking for responsible volunteers ages 18+. Positions are open to female- and male-identified mentors with or without musical experience. From band coaching to leading a workshop to moving and setting up gear, there are plenty of opportunities to help out at our week-long summer day camps. Summer Camp 2014 volunteer applications will be available in early March!
Didn’t get enough Rock Camp volunteering in the summer? We are always looking for volunteers who are available year-round. Tasks can vary from administrative support to outreach and events, working at our after school programs and Ladies Rock Camp, or promoting our online presence.
Summer Camp Interns
Learn the skills of teaching music, mentorship, and more while interning at Summer Camp! Interns ages 15-17 must have attended at least two sessions of Summer Camp or Girls Rock Institute as a camper.
Work with our volunteers as a band manager, sound engineer, workshop leader, or instrument instructor and be part of our extraordinary gear crew! You also have the opportunity to perform at the showcase by filling in on an instrument for a camper band or forming an intern band. Applications available now.
Interning isn’t just for summer anymore — you can stay involved with Camp all year long! Girls ages 15-17 who have attended at least two sessions of After School Programming or Summer Camp are eligible to apply. Participate in our year-round programming, exploring more aspects of music creation and performance. Help run Girls Rock Institute, Rock Camp Studio, Hip-Hop Elements, and more after-school programming!
