Portland’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls is first and foremost a mentorship organization. We strive to present a variety of role models for our campers. Get involved with Rock ’n’ Roll Camp for Girls year round. Volunteer opportunities exist for people of all gender identities, with or without musical experience. Be a mentor, build girls’ self-esteem, and have a lot of fun!

We welcome individuals who self-identify as female, trans* (regardless of identity), or gender non-conforming to apply for Direct Mentorship positions at Summer Camp. We also welcome and appreciate allies of any gender identity to volunteer in Indirect Mentorship Roles. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for everyone and interested in an ongoing conversation about gender. For more information about all our volunteer positions available through out the year and during the summer camp, please visit our Opportunity Directory!

We also accept Year-Round Volunteer Applications & Year-Round Intern Applications on a rolling basis!
Don’t get enough Rock Camp volunteering in the summer? We are always looking for volunteers & interns who are available year-round. Tasks can vary from administrative support to outreach and events, flyering around town and social media help with the Promo Posse, working at one of our year round programs, and more! Girls ages 15-17 who have attended at least two sessions of After School Programming or Summer Camp are eligible to apply to be interns. Participate in our year-round programming, exploring more aspects of music creation and performance. Help run after-school programming and prepare for Summer Camp!

If you help out with Rock Camp, we would be honored to write you any letter of recommendation, just email us.
