WHAT to BRING to CAMP:
Lunch:
Please bring your own lunch and an afternoon snack to
camp each day. We have no extra refrigeration for camper lunches so
please make sure they are suited for room temperature. Drinks will be
provided. Please come to camp with a LABELED bottle of water for use
throughout each day as we work up a sweat and need to stay hydrated.
Clothing: When you arrive at camp,
please wear loose, comfortable clothing as you will be participating in a
self-defense workshop during the week. Also, the campsite may become
pretty hot inside due to the volume of people and activities, so please
dress appropriately.
Personal belongings:
Try to pack light and make sure to LABEL ALL YOUR
BELONGINGS, including all gear, instruments, bags, jackets, etc. and if
possible, do not bring a purse. Items inevitably get lost each
session so clearly label everything that might be separated from you at
any time. A “Lost & Found” will be kept at the
Reception Desk up front.

★ Absolutely no
smoking, drug or alcohol consumption on property during camp hours,
including in port-a-potties. ★
Respect everything and everyone at the Camp at all times. This includes
all instruments, equipment, gear, staff, property, and fellow
campers. Most of our gear has been donated, and should be handled
carefully. ANY bullying, or racist, homophobic, or otherwise
oppressive comments or song lyrics will lead to immediate expulsion.
You will meet girls and women of different socioeconomic backgrounds,
races, ages, sizes, abilities, sexual orientations and identities,
religions, and skill levels at this camp. We are coming together to
support each other’s creative risks and are committed to keeping
Rock Camp a safer space for all of us. ★ Outside
port-a-potties are for camper use. The one bathroom inside the
facility is reserved for wheelchair access and staff, volunteer, and
intern use only. Please remember to always utilize the
port-a-potties if you are able-bodied. ★ Turn off all cell
phones and pagers during workshops and performances. ★ NO
TRASH should be left anywhere but in the garbage cans. Campers are
responsible for helping us keep the rooms inside and the grounds outside
the camp free of garbage. ★ Under no circumstance is a
camper of any age allowed to leave the premises of the Rock Camp without
the company of their parent/guardian unless other arrangements have been
made.
