Register HERE for 2017 spring session (April 21st, 22nd & 23rd)
Ladies Rock Camp (LRC) is a weekend day camp in Portland, OR that provides an opportunity for women 21 and over to let loose for the weekend and create original music together. Beginning Friday, you’ll start to learn and/or improve upon your instrument of choice*, then you’ll form a band and work together to write an original song that you will play on stage at Kelly’s Olympian music venue by Sunday. In addition, you will have the opportunity to attend workshops, participate in a karaoke night, and create the music you want to hear!
*Choice of instruments: Bass, Drums, Guitar, Vocals. Instrument assignments will be given on a first come-first served basis. NO MUSICAL EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. You don’t have to bring your own instrument, but if you choose to please note Camp cannot accept liability for personal equipment and please label all your belongings well.
Ladies Rock Camp is an important fundraiser for our Girls Rock Summer Camps, so our goal is to make it more accessible while still being a solid fundraiser.
Therefore, we are excited to announce our new Ladies Rock Camp pricing. Tuition for Ladies Rock Camp will now be $300.00. Our hope is this new pricing will bring folks to our camp who have never been able to experience it and continue to generate scholarship funds for our summer camps.
The cost of LRC is $300. Tuition is due in full at the time of enrollment. This year we are accepting Cash, Credit/debit & Checks. Please make checks out to Rock’n’Roll Camp for Girls and send to P.O. Box 11324 Portland, OR 97211.
As a non-profit all donations made to us (in-kind and monetary) are tax deductible, and much appreciated! The Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls has become what it is today because of unending community support. While your tuition is not considered a donation, any amount beyond that is! So please consider giving an extra amount if at all possible, every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated!
