Rock Block

Our most popular after school program teaches girls ages 8-18* of all skill levels! One hour of instrument instruction followed by an hour of band practice with a jammin end of term Showcase!

• Learn guitar, bass, drums, keys, or vocals from experienced and skilled women instructors

• Everyone forms a band, helps write a song, and performs at the GRI Showcase

• Bring your own electric guitar or bass, or use ours

• Free instrument lending library

• No experience necessary; beginner to advanced classes available

• Take classes with girls just like you from the Portland metro area

• Have fun, make friends, and learn how to rock!

• Sign up for Fall, Winter, and Spring terms
• $250 Tuition Fee per term
• Financial aid available on a limited basis
• Classes offered Tuesdays or Wednesdays
