 FAQ

Q: Who can practice at Rock Camp?
A: Practice spaces are open to bands with majority female members who are mature and knowledgeable enough to lead their own practice and use equipment in a respectful manner without the need for a band coach to directly supervise.

Q: When can my band practice?
A: We allow bands to practice during Girls Rock Institute hours, or other hours when the Rock Camp is open and staff are present.

Q: How much does using a practice space cost?
A: $20/hr. Some use of Rock Camp equipment on site included. Adding a band coach to your practice brings the cost to $30/hr for most bands.

Q: Can I get a key to a locker for my equipment, or to my own practice room?
A: Not at this time.

Q: Is there financial aid for practice space?
A: Yes, but it is very limited for this program at this time.

Q: How do I arrange to use a practice space?
A: The best way is to email gri@girlsrockcamp.org and begin the process of finding out if using the Rock Camp to have your band practice is right for you.
