Imagine the power of 50 benefit shows, one in each state, raising money
and awareness for the same cause on the same day. We need you to host an
event in your town to help us reach this goal in our 5th year of raising
money with this awesome benefit for the Girls Rock Camp Alliance.Why Benefit the Girls Rock Camp Alliance?More and more girls rock camps are opening every year. The purpose of GRCA is to network and skill share with as many girls rock camps as possible so we can improve not only our programs and services, but increase our sustainability. Funds created from 50 Shows in 50 States go toward supporting each affiliate girls rock camp fulfill our likeminded mission of helping girls build self esteem in a positive learning environment with their peers and female musician mentors!Represent Your State!Host a show in your state and proceeds will benefit the Girls Rock Camp Alliance, an affiliation of 20 and more girls rock camps around the world!Check out our awesome program Girls Rock Camp Alliance! Get involved with our national Girls Rock Camp Alliance fundraiser
50 Shows in 50 States!!! We are now looking for
bands, performers, dance parties, venues, and hosts to represent their
state and participate in this awesome fundraiser. How to Get
Involved. host a show and
represent your state on or near Nov 12, 2010. As a host, you are responsible for
finding the venue, deciding who will play or perform, deciding on a cover
charge or other means of raising funds, making a flier, and promoting the
show. You can have your benefit at a bar,
club, coffeehouse, arena, your garage, basement, grandma’s living
room, church, synagogue, mosque, teen center, parking lot, theater, dance
hall, farm, book store, a flower shop, grange hall, coliseum or anywhere
you see fit to host your event. Your event can
be anything you want: all ages or 21+, a mixed gender bill, totally rock,
or completely unrelated to music. All proceeds from your event will
directly benefit the organizations of the GRCA and girls rock campers
around the world. band support! • organize a show, or
we can hook you up with a host in your state! • turn a show you are
playing on or around Nov. 12th into a fundraiser. Even if you're on tour,
you can show your love and support for girls rock
camps! • spread the word to
other touring bands and friends across the country • get your label
involved by asking for their support in helping organize a
show clubs, venues,
booking agents! • offer your club or
venue to a 50 Shows host or band • ask bands on your
roster to get involved and donate proceeds from a
show other
support! • we need a general
50 Shows poster design, t shirts, screen printing, radio promo, venue
rental costs donated, and many other services.
Any amount of support is greatly appreciated.

participating programs are committed to providing scholarships and
subsidized tuition so that every girl has access to instrument lessons,
band practice, workshops, and performance in a positive environment. GRCA also provides training, resources, and
